Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free quotations?

Yes. We are happy to visit your property and provide a free, no-obligation quotation at a time convenient for you.

Please note that consultations for properties you do not yet own (such as pre-purchase inspections or quotations for prospective purchases) are chargeable at a fixed rate.

Can you assist with planning permission and building warrant applications?

Yes. We can help guide you through the process and work closely with architects, local authorities, and building control where required to help your project progress smoothly.

Can you supply materials and fully manage the project?

Absolutely. We regularly supply all required materials, coordinate trades, and fully manage projects from start to finish.

Our aim is to provide a straightforward and stress-free experience while ensuring works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Can we view examples of previous projects?

Yes. We are happy to provide photographs of previous work, references from past clients, and, in many cases, arrange viewings of completed projects similar to your requirements.

Is there a waiting list for work to begin?

Timescales vary depending on the type and size of the project, as well as our current workload. Please contact us directly for current availability.

Who will manage our project?

All projects are professionally managed by our experienced management team, providing clients with clear communication, organisation, and oversight throughout every stage of the works.

From initial quotation through to completion, we coordinate trades, materials, scheduling, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

How are payments structured?

For larger projects, a detailed contract and payment schedule will be provided outlining agreed stage payments throughout the works.

Final payment is only due once all agreed works have been completed.

Can you help with the design and planning of larger projects?

Yes. We can work alongside architects and designers to help develop plans that suit both your vision and your budget, while also offering practical advice based on our industry experience.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. Rose Construction is fully insured with £5 million public liability insurance and £10 million employers’ liability insurance, giving our clients confidence and peace of mind throughout all works undertaken.

What areas do you cover?

We provide building and property maintenance services across the East Coast of Scotland, including Dundee, Angus, Perthshire, Fife, and surrounding areas.

Do you provide written contracts?

Yes. For larger projects, we provide detailed written contracts clearly outlining the agreed scope of works, payment schedule, and project expectations to ensure transparency for all parties involved.

Are your quotations fixed price?

Where possible, quotations are provided on a fixed-price basis based on the agreed scope of works. Any potential variations or additional works are always discussed and agreed with the client before proceeding.
